Karen Wasson has been a trial attorney for 25 years and is licensed to practice law in Georgia, Florida, and Colorado. She grew up in Southwest Florida and attended Florida State University. Karen went to law school at the University of Georgia and started her career in the District Attorney’s Office in Gwinnett County, Georgia, handling Felony Prosecutions. In 1997, she relocated to Central Florida and began representing injured victims and their families in automobile and medical malpractice cases. In 2007, her family moved to Colorado, and she worked as in-house counsel for an insurance company. Karen then spent about a year as a Director of that insurance company, overseeing large loss claims and lawsuits throughout the country. In 2015, she moved back to Florida to do what she loved best, giving a voice to those who have been hurt by the negligence of others.

Karen has tried in excess of one hundred cases in her career with a focus on high exposure litigation. She has been given a rating of AV by Martindale-Hubbell and is listed in the 2013 Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers.
